Jeff Crabtree, Worship Pastor

Jeff Crabtree joined the Village Meadows as the Worship Pastor in July of 2020. Jeff is in close partnership with his wife Vanessa in the ministry. Together they have been in music ministry their entire marriage. In fact, he attributes most of his love of worship to his wife’s amazing God-given gift of inspiring everyone around her to sing.

He previously was on staff at Fredericksburg UMC in Hill Country TX and The Salvation Army as a state-wide music director, where he led worship as a contemporary worship leader, orchestra director, brass band leader, arranger. He also helped lead choirs and youth music programs.

Aside from music Jeff is excited about game nights with friends, exploring, and history. Some of his favorite times are laughing together with friends and church family over a homecooked meal and games. Not to be confused with a home-cooked game…..whatever that is.

Jeff also enjoyed long road trips and singing at the top of his lungs with his wife in the car. He has an odd talent for making funny songs based on worship tunes about everyday life events.

Jeff has been in vocational ministry for 6 years but has been involved in worship ministries for over 20 years. Since leading worship for his youth group as a teenager.

Vanessa has been in worship ministries for over 17 years.

Ministry Verse Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
